The Challenge
As the platform expanded into new markets, maintaining accurate and up-to-date market intelligence became increasingly difficult. Two business-critical workflows relied heavily on manual research.
- Keeping market regulations up to date. Every city has its own licensing rules, zoning restrictions, and compliance requirements, all of which change frequently. Analysts spent countless hours reviewing municipal websites, interpreting legal documents, and verifying updates before new information could be published.
- Accurately identifying property locations. Since listing platforms intentionally obscure property locations, analysts had to compare images, maps, and publicly available information to determine where a property was actually located.
While these manual processes produced reliable results, they were expensive, time-consuming, and difficult to scale as the volume of listings continued to grow.
